Micasa Food Truck
Thomas and Diana Jones have been operating gourmet food trucks long before street food was a big thing in Brisbane. With 18 years experience under their belts, the duo set out to start a new venture with Micasa Food Truck. Short for ‘mi casa es su casa’ – translated to ‘my house is your house’ – Micasa Food Truck offers eaters a range of Tex-Mex cuisine, ranging from burgers to nachos and more. The menu rotates through a host of specials, with inspiration drawn from Pulp Fiction for several dishes. The Royale with Cheese features Angus beef patties, double American cheese, dill pickles and tomato relish, while the Big Kahuna burger piles beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato caramelised onion and fresh Queensland pineapple on buns. Everything is made from scratch – even the relishes and sauces – from local produce when available, with generous portions sure to beat any appetite. You can catch Micasa Food Truck at Downey Park Food Trucks, the World Food Market, Park Food Trucks and various locations around Brisbane. Be sure to follow Micasa Food Truck on Instagram to track its movements around town.
