Kenjin

Fortitude Valley’s energy-packed Asian-fusion eatery and nightclub, Kenjin, is set to unveil a new look and a new menu this week, with its newly renovated dining room set to reopen to the public on Friday January 19. The refreshed interior will boast a sense of Japanese-inspired minimalism with warm accents. Kenjin’s refreshed food offering has been overseen by the restaurant’s head chef, who brings experience at vaunted culinary establishments like Nobu Melbourne to the fore with tantalising dishes like teriyaki salmon with truffle potato puree, sauteed vegetables, ikura, negi and house-made teriyaki sauce, torched scallops with smoked bone marrow, celeriac puree, caviar, thyme and yuzu, and Byron Bay pork belly with maple, sweet soy, coriander and spring onion. Kenjin’s bar offering is as inventive as ever – expect to find handcrafted signature concoctions alongside shareable fishbowl cocktails.
