Josie North is the latest project from chef Matt Roggenkamp from The Single Guys, which opened in Clements Arcade on Sherwood Road (next to Genkotsu Ramen) at the end of May 2016. With an interior designed by Woodster’s Oliver Burscough, Josie North offers coffee roasted by popular Melbourne outfit Small Batch and Seven Seeds as well as Sydney’s Reuben Hills and serves a menu of seasonal dishes for breakfast and lunch. Seven Hills is the house blend, while an aromatic Ethiopian blend is used for espressos. Josie North also serves filter coffee, which is perfect for those looking for a more refined and delicate taste plus milk from Maleny Dairies and bonsoy. Non-coffee drinkers are catered for with tea options and specialty hot chocolate from Mork. All-day breakfast options include grilled cheese with pickles and onion jam and cinnamon oatmeal with almonds and rhubarb and ginger compote, while lunch munchers can grab a chicken or pastrami sandwiches. Gramercy Donuts and croissants from Crust & Co are also available until sold out.
