The team behind Little Peaches on Beesley Street in West End expanded its operations in 2023. Owners Josh Power and Lachlan Geraghty shifted operations into a vacant (and much larger) space next door, inside which they’ve established GoodGood – a cafe and wine bar hybrid delivering light breakfasts and coffee in the morning, and vino and bar snacks in the evening. The spacious new 150-sqm site, which boasts 3-m high ceilings and capacity for 45, features a chic design scheme. The military green of Little Peaches has been exchanged for natural creamy colour on the walls, courtesy of a textural Japanese-style clay – though plenty of lush foliage will soon be added around the space. During the day GoodGood serve simple, delicious breakfast menu comprised of light vegan and vegetarian options, with meat available as an add-on. As the afternoon melts into dusk, a menu of bar-style nibbles becomes available, with the bar itself similarly transitioning to serve a tight wine list featuring a mix of alternative and natural drops, as well as a clutch of traditional faves.
