Doug and Pearl is a modern-Italian restaurant that adds a touch of fine dining to suburban Cleveland. Owner and long time resident, Tomas Armstrong, started Doug and Pearl in 2013 after returning from travels overseas. His desire to bring some of the food he experienced back home was the primary catalyst for entering the restaurant business and it has paid dividends so far. Doug and Pearl is now one of the top-ranked eateries in the area thanks to its small, intimate environment and menu of fresh, locally sourced food. The tailored menu has a scrumptious selection of meals ranging from sticky beef short ribs and spatchcock to tiger prawn risotto and brioche sliders. This fully licensed restaurant is a great setting for an intimate dinner or a casual lunch – the food quality is only matched by the genuine enthusiasm of Tomas himself.
