Brooklyn Depot has been a fixture on the burger circuit since opening in 2016. An expansion boom in 2020 saw the concept grow to encompass three locations, which was then bolstered to four when Brooklyn Depot opened in Stones Corner in March 2021. Burgers are a central pillar of the menu, with a host of handcrafted staples joined by a few supersized ‘Epic’ options. Hot dogs are also a key fixture, with six varieties all featuring a pork wiener topped with the likes of beef chilli, mac ‘n’ cheese, caramelised onion, fried egg and more. Groups are encouraged to collectively chow down on share plates including crispy pork-belly nuggets, spicy beef chilli nachos, gooey mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders, or tackle racks of spice-rubbed sticky pork ribs, juicy beef brisket and buffalo-lathered chicken wingettes. If you thought that was enough, you’re in for a surprise. Sandwiches, salads and loaded fries also feature on the menu, so good luck making a choice. It almost goes with out saying that a feast this substantial requires a drink or two to wash it down, so it’s handy that Brooklyn Depot Stones Corner comes equipped with a bar that serves milkshakes, bottled and tap beer, cider, wine and spirits. Perhaps more enticing for some is the range of Instagrammable cocktails, some of which come with fairy floss, popping candy or, in the case of the share cocktail the Pornstar Punch, a whole bottle of moscato served in a fishbowl with vodka, passoa, vanilla syrup, grapefruit juice and mixed fruit.
