Beloved salad and sweet dispensary Botanica celebrated eight years of existence by gifting Brisbane with another locale. In January 2021, Alison and Brett Hutley opened their fourth Botanica store inside the Two Sixty-Five micro-precinct, next to the Cineplex on Hawthorne Road. Like its sibling locations, the cosy space serves an ever-changing array of mouth-watering salads, but it is also placing a bit more of an emphasis on its range of seductive sweets – namely its famous mini bundt cakes. Botanica joins Nodo, Ze Pickle and Paper Cup Coffee Co. at the new hub, which has quickly cemented itself as popular foodie hub. That’s not all we can expect from Botanica next year – the crew also has a new home base in the works, which is tentatively slated to open in mid 2021.
