Benz on Miller has been one of Brisbane’s finest purveyors of burgers for years, with its original Murarrie location kickstarting a craze for Ben and Kris Kirk’s style of two-handers when it launched in 2014. Benz expanded to Tingalpa in 2023, opening a dine-in location in the heart of Moreton Town Shopping Centre in Tingalpa. Boasting a bold black-and-orange colour scheme and grungy aesthetic that pays homage to graffiti and skate culture, Benz is easy to spot. Pop in and take a look at the menu, which includes an eight-strong range of core burgers and a clutch of sides, as well as rotating thick shakes and dessert pots. Must-try options include the Benz Cheesy (a sensational take on the classic cheeseburger) and the Sweet Baby Jeebus, which boasts a surfboard-sized slab of fried chicken (coated in a sweet Wild Turkey and maple glaze) isandwiched between two buns alongside bacon, cheese, lettuce before being drenched in Frank’s RedHot sauce-laced mayo.
