The sister space to the pint-sized hub on James Street, Seadog in the park is perched at the far end of the green at Burleigh Heads Bowls Club. Primarily a takeaway coffee outlet, there are a handful of picnic benches shaded by sky-blue and white umbrellas if you prefer to sit and savour your brew. If the sun is shining, you can also opt to roll out a rug in the park and they’ll run it over to you. In true Seadog style, what the venue lacks in size it makes up for in personality, passion and excellent coffee. Seadog in the park brews its own blend, which is roasted in beautiful Byron Bay. Coffee purists and espresso sippers can still enjoy a weekly rotation of single origin from Marvell Street Coffee Roasters whilst iced-latte lovers can keep their cool with their beverage of choice served with a cute paper cocktail umbrella.
