A quaint cottage on Byron Bay’s Marvel Street has been transformed into a vibrant new arts, events and fashion space – it’s called a A Spot of Genius, it’s glorious and you need to check it out. This is where you’ll find all of the magic, creativity and brilliance of Byron Bay under one roof. Seriously, what a dream.

A Spot of Genius brings together an eclectic mix of art, sculpture, photography and fashion. The rad new space is a collaboration between the creative minds behind some of the region’s most unique brands, including internationally renowned free-spirited children’s clothing and lifestyle brand Children of the Tribe, founded by Emma McClean. If you’re familiar with Children of the Tribe and it’s star-studded following, then you’ll be delighted to know that you’ll find its new Slow Livin’ collection showcased exclusively at A Spot of Genius.

The Marvel Street cottage also brings together local goodness from sunglasses label Enki Eyewear, vintage clothing label Chasing Unicorns, cutting-edge hat brand FallenBrokenStreet, and newly launched women’s surfwear brand, Atmosea. Renowned art dealer Alex Thom, of Thom Gallery, has set up a fine art and sculpture gallery in A Spot Of Genius, which also acts as the perfectly curated events space. A Spot of Genius, located at 7 Marvel Street, is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Who would have thought you could find so much goodness in one place.
