With the sun rising a little earlier, giving us just a few extra minutes each day, we can tell that spring is just around the corner! So you can get in the spirit, we have hand-picked a fun selection of events happening across the Gold Coast to see you into the warmer months! Helping you get there is the always handy G:link, which operates across 19 stops from Helensvale down to Broadbeach South.

Kingdom of Kindness

HOTA’s latest interactive exhibition, Kingdom of Kindness, invites families to explore the creative works of artist Abdul Abdullah featuring immersive digital projections and hands-on activities inspired by anthropomorphized rocks and stunning landscapes. Aimed at fostering creativity and connection, the exhibition includes activities like tic-tac-toe, a mirrored wall and a rock-climbing wall. The inclusive nature of Abdul’s work encourages both children and adults to engage in imaginative play and storytelling. The exhibition runs until October 6. To get there, catch the G:link and get off at the Cypress Avenue stop, then enjoy a short 10-15 minute stroll through Chevron Island over to HOTA using the Green Bridge. Bring a picnic and soak up some sun at Evandale Park afterwards!
