So, here’s the low-down. The team at Harvest have collaborated with whisky ambassador Dan Woolley to create the exclusive ‘smoke and salt’ whisky masterclass event. Harvest’s old bakery will be opened up for the afternoon showcase, which will take guests on an international journey through six courses of whisky, each accompanied by matching canapes. In true Harvest style, you can expect a well-curated selection of eats from its award-winning kitchen, which thrives on utilising the best produce from the local region.

This whisky game is serious stuff, so luckily Dan Woolley, one of the industry’s greatest minds, is on hand to take you on the journey. You’ll be intrigued by the world of smoky whiskies, including the delicate and subtle flavours of Japan’s Suntory Hakushu, before experiencing the softer smoky style of Ireland. The earthy tones of the Scottish Highlands will be unveiled, before taking a bold and intense twist from Bowmore, one of the Scotland’s oldest distilleries. The courses will finish on a powerful note from the distinctive tastes and historically rich nature of the Laphroaig distillery.
