Step into a Christmas wonderland at Sanctuary Cove this December

Do you hear that? The sound of shopping centres and homes across Australia collectively blowing the dust off their Christmas decorations and Mariah Carey albums, ready for the most wonderful time of the year! If, like us, Christmas has you jingling with joy, you’ll want to schedule a visit to Sanctuary Cove this festive season. While they can’t promise snow, they can promise a sparkling line-up of Christmas food, events, prizes and festivities against the backdrop of blue skies, glistening waterfronts and snow-white yachts. Here’s everything you need to know about the holy jolly times on the cards for Hope Island this December.

At the time of writing, we have just under five weeks until Christmas. If you haven’t started your shopping, let this be a gentle nudge to get cracking before things get too crazy. Luckily for you, it’s easy to enjoy a spot of Christmas shopping without the stress at Sanctuary Cove, as the food and entertainment precinct transforms into a summer Christmas extravaganza. Adults, kids and four-legged friends alike can make the most of Christmas carols, interactive displays, meet and greets with Santa in his magical igloo, direct access to the North Pole mailbox and a chance to scratch-and-win to share in over 300 prizes.

The elves at Sanctuary Cove have been busy decking the halls with twinkling Christmas trees and organising a sleigh-load of live entertainment. From December 1, you can kick off the celebrations and enjoy Christmas Carols on the Green at the Docks Precinct from 5:00 pm. Sanctuary Cove’s nearby waterfront restaurants will also serve festive meals and drinks to accompany your evening of sing-a-longs to classics and new merry tunes. The North Pole Mailbox has arrived earlier than expected, giving little ones plenty of time to send their wishes directly to the big man in red. If you’re keen to speak to Santa in person, meet him for a picture at the magical North Pole Igloo from Thursday December 8 until Sunday December 11. Your furry friends are also welcome to meet Santa for a pawfect picture on December 11. While you’re there getting a photo taken, you can also walk through the streets of Sanctuary Cove and be mesmerised by decorations and festivities, with special gifts, giveaways and daily prizes up for grabs. There will be live entertainment and carollers roaming the precinct spreading joy in the lead-up to Christmas. ‘Tis truly the most wonderful time of the year at Sanctuary Cove.

Dive into festive shopping at Sanctuary Cove from November 22 and go in the running to win more than $12,00 worth of prizes, including an overnight stay at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort. Now that’s the motivation we need to get out and into the Christmas spirit!
