Champagne, yoga and haloumi chips – it’s time to eat your way through The Brickworks at Inside Out

Attention foodies, fashionistas, music lovers and creative types (aka all of you), the Gold Coast’s ultimate pop-up picnic is back! The Brickworks Inside Out festival is being held next Sunday September 10, with the precinct set to transform with everything from gourmet food stalls and Veuve champagne bars, to dog yoga sessions and flower-crown workshops. That’s right, we said dog yoga.

As the name suggests, the one-day festival is designed to let you explore The Brickworks from the inside out. The festival’s main area is entered around food and drinks (what a dream), with a bunch of pop-up food stalls featuring everything from healthy treats and all of the cheeses, to vibrant salads, haloumi chips, poke bowls and fresh seafood. You’ll be able to hang out with a Merlo Coffee in hand at the Prestige Property Sit and Sip Pod, pop some bottles in the pop-up Vueve Bar, get a quick touch up at the Ry Beauty Bar and get a free instant Polaroid at the Fleurus flower wall.

For the all-ages creative types, you can hang at the Crafts Laneway (friendly note – it’s a licensed area) or let the kids have their own fun in the Play Patch. Head over to the Stone and Wood Beer Garden at Salt Cafe and Bar – the area will be dedicated to beers, beards and beats, with the gents from Lost Boys Barber on hand to give you a sweet cut to the tune of live percussionists. Oh, there’s more – you can also catch free cookings demos, live art showcases, a catwalk show by St Barts, plus … dog yoga, as well as human-only yoga (though, yoga with your dog is way more fun). Check out the official program online.
