Be transported to Paris at Bistro On3’s Bastille Day celebration on July 14 that promises to deliver a taste of French culture right here in Broadbeach. Known as the national day of France, Bastille Day is celebrated with grand festivities, including parades, fireworks, concerts and parties. Bistro On3 at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach will be dressed in red, white and blue, and you can too, for an afternoon of fabulous French fare and frivolity from 12:00–3:00 pm.

Dive into a culinary journey, with classic French delights such as traditional soupe à l’oignon topped with melted cheese and crusty bread, savoury chicken basquaise simmered with chorizo, vine ripened tomatoes, capsicum and olives, and the beloved seafood bouillabaisse – a flavourful fish stew featuring Coral Coast barramundi, southern squid and local king prawns. The grand finale is the show-stopping croquembouche, a grand tower of cream puffs held together with rich caramel. Ooh la la!

And the celebrations don’t stop there! For the entire month of July, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is paying homage to a beloved French dessert, the traditional Crepe Suzette. From July 1–31 you can fall in love with these perfectly folded crepes, bathed in a rich orange-butter sauce. The real French fanfare takes place tableside when the crepes are laced with Grand Marnier before being flambeed, intensifying the rich, citrusy flavours. This elegant dish combines the delicate texture of the crepes with the sweet, tangy, and slightly bitter notes of the sauce, making it a favourite in fine dining and a symbol of French culinary artistry. 

Tickets to this special event are $125 per person, with a special Accor Plus member price of $99 per person.
