If you’re someone who prefers your furniture with a little character and can appreciate beauty in imperfections, take a peek at Archer and Archer’s eclectic range of vintage and rescued pieces for your home.

From amazing vintage world maps to adorn your previously bland wall through to bespoke tables made from a slab of Black Cherry Tree, Archer and Archer’s website is like a virtual rabbit hole to explore and inspire. The site is the work of Troy and Sarah Archer who care less about profit and more about salvaging pieces of extraordinary character and giving discarded pieces a new lease on life. In fact, they’re so committed to unearthing treasures they’ve been known to grind to a halt on the highway to save a piece of wood because they can picture it hanging in a hallway under a spotlight and have climbed through dusty sheds to procure a wooden box with the hope of seeing it mounted on a cafe wall.

The creative couple began channeling their love for creating unusual and unexpected spaces and homewares back in 2011, which has grown to somewhat of an obsession for the pair. Take a virtual wander around Archer and Archer’s online store or find a selection of pieces at Woodbox Cafe on Tallebudgera Creek Road, 20th Century Antiques in Coolangatta and at The Village Markets at Burleigh Heads.
