Get amped for Shakafest 2016
If you’re still mourning the loss of Big Day Out, it’s time to move on because there’s a new festival in town – Shakafest is happening at Miami Tavern on Saturday August 27 and trust us when we say it’s going to be all-time.
Having commanded airwaves with their collaboration ‘Mexico’, legendary Perth-based MC Drapht and Brissie boys Dune Rats will take the makeshift stage this upcoming long weekend for Shakafest 2016. The new festival brings together all things street and skate with bangin’ beats, graffiti art as well as a massive half pipe with demos courtesy of RedBull and Fiik.
Joining the jam-packed line-up is Sydney hip-hop duo Spit Syndicate, future legends Peach Fur, Ivey and Von Villains alongside earthy indie rockers from Kiama, The Vanns, and local lads Yes Sir Noceur. Tickets to Shakafest are $59 and are getting snapped up faster than you can say shakas, brah!
