Molten Store is hosting the garden party of the season

This Saturday April 6, Molten Store is hosting an oh-so-shiny soiree to toast the launch of its latest gemstones. The day-long event will set the James Street store abloom in technicolour with an array of gleaming gemstones waiting to be explored.

Molten Store has been bringing a sparkle to Brisbane’s adornment scene for over a decade with its considered collection of jewellery. Born on James Street in 2010, the brand has grown into a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind pieces featuring countless sustainably sourced gemstones and diamonds.

After launching Molten Store’s bespoke jewellery-making service late last year, the James Street store is inviting fellow finery fiends to frolic through The Gem Garden. On the first Saturday of every month, this new event series will let guests swoon over boxes of gemstones and diamonds in a medley of cuts and colours. The curated selection is stacked with gemstones sourced from across the globe, as well as local Australian sapphires from Brisbane’s surrounds. “We worked with small scale sapphire mines west of Brisbane to source uncut sapphires in their raw form, which were then expertly cut and polished to reveal their unique beauty,” says founder Jessy Cameron.

At The Gem Garden, Molten Store’s friendly team will take you through the bespoke jewellery magic and offer a glimpse at its most recent creations. The bespoke collection promises destined heirlooms, turning your finery fantasies into a reality. The Gem Garden lets you glean gemstones up close and discover more about the crafting journey – perfect if you’re coveting a bespoke engagement ring, a custom piece for your collection or simply just gem-curious.

The event is in collaboration with flower artist esme fleur, who will transform the already-dreamy James Street store into a garden wonderland with an enchanted installation. Conceptual caterer Zosia Cooks will also be adding a touch of edible elegance to the mix, serving delicious delights inspired by the rich hues of blue, yellow and green in Australian Sapphires.

Take a wander through The Gem Garden on April 6 from 9:30 am. Find out more here.
