The countdown to Crafted Beer Festival is on! The froth-filled fiesta is taking over Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach on September 9 and 10. The star of the show is beer, of course, but we all know that a good sesh includes a hearty feed too. So you know what lip-smacking eats to pair with your lager, we have rounded up all of the delicious bites to devour at this year’s Crafted Beer Festival.

There’s a smorgasbord of sizzling eats to indulge in at Crafted Beer Festival, so make sure to come with an empty stomach. Let’s start with the savoury stuff, shall we? You can tuck into tantalising tacos from 2 Serial Grillers, belly-warming gnocchi from Bigoli Italian Street Food, sizeable kranskies from Brat Haus, charcuterie from Church Mouse Cheese or mouth-watering smoked meats from Flamin Grillas. Cycho’s Buffalo Wings will be slinging saucy wings, as well as hosting its annual hot-wing-eating competition, which is sure to test taste buds with serious spice. The food truck line-up also includes I Heart Calamari, Italian Pizzas, Meat Buns, Samba Catering Co and FG’s Smokehouse. If you’re in need of a pick-me-up that’s on the sweeter side, pair a brew from Downunder Coffee with a delicious cinnamon doughnut from G.Free Donuts. Gluten free, vego or vegan? There are plenty of options to suit all dietary requirements so don’t fret.

To wash it all down, the usual frothy suspects will be slinging brews left, right and centre, with more than 400 individual brews from more than 50 breweries blessing the bevy line-up. You can wet your whistle with icy-cold delights from Precinct Brewing Co, Soapbox Beer, Straddie Brewing Co, Fortitude Brewing Co., Madocke Beer Brewing Company, Revel Brewing Co, Currumbin Valley Brewing and much more. Local gin distillery Granddad Jack’s will be once again slinging G&Ts and cocktails from their two-storey vintage bar, and the team will also be hosting a clutch of exclusive whiskey tastings on Sunday (served with a charcuterie tasting cone from Church Mouse Cheese). Carafe Wine is also joining the party, pouring glorious grape juice all weekend. Those after a premium experience should pop in on Sunday for Carafe’s extra-special wine flights, which are paired perfectly with a cheese-tasting plate. Be quick to purchase tickets to these tempting tastings, as spots are limited! Tickets can be purchased on top of day and weekend passes at checkout.

If all this talk of bites and brews is making your stomach grumble, grab your tickets at the Crafted Beer Festival website ASAP. Feeling lucky? We have partnered with Crafted Beer Festival to give one lucky reader the chance to win the ultimate crafted weekend, including a two-night stay at 4.5-star luxury hotel Rhapsody Resort, two weekend passes to the festival, two wooden beer-tasting paddles and two Crafted stubby coolers. The competition closes on Tuesday August 22, so head here to register!
