The layered sounds of A French Butler Called Smith
Purveyors of an enticing blend of roots, funk, latin, gypsy and dance music, A French Butler Called Smith are adept at crafting infectious tunes that will have you tapping your toe and bopping your head.
Hailing from the Gold Coast, the playful five-piece outfit garnered a dedicated following of fans after playing at a string of festivals across Australia last year, including Splendour in the Grass and the Byron Bay Bluesfest.
The ebullient nature of the music on the band’s debut album Milkdrop Circus is hard to deny, and one can only image how much fun the band had when putting together its newly released EP Eating Crow.
The band is currently gallivanting across New South Wales, but keep an eye on the website for more show dates, as we are certain the lads won’t be able to stay away from their home state for long.
