Queensland Music Festival

Queensland Music Festival bursts into Brisbane

Rolling out across the state, Queensland Music Festival will bring the voluminous talents of some of Australia’s brightest musicians to Brisbane from July 12–28.

The Queensland Music Festival will encompass a glittering collection of artists and performers at various locations throughout Brisbane and beyond. Attendees are invited to make musical history by playing live with the World’s Biggest Orchestra in a Guinness World Record challenge, alongside James Morrison at Suncorp Stadium.  Then, in an evening of storytelling and Pezhvac-inspired performances, the Queensland Theatre Company will host 1001 Nights, enriching the olden tales of Aladdin, Sinbad and Ali Baba.

The harmonies of ten-time Grammy award-winning vocal group Take 6 will drift over audiences at QPAC in a blend of gospel, jazz, R&B and pop music styles, while Redcliffe’s favourite brothers The Bee Gees will be celebrated collectively by some of the nation’s finest singers in How Deep Is Your Love. Music lovers will further rejoice in the sounds of jazz, pop, bluegrass, classical music, indigenous traditions, South American rhythms and performances throughout the festival.
