The annual Caxton Street Festival set to be the biggest yet

Thousands of punters are gearing up to descend on Caxton Street for a day and a night of food, drink and music on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.

The Caxton Street Seafood Festival has transformed into an all-out street party, which will turn the entire precinct into one manic festival of fun. Boasting a bigger range of entertainment, food, craft beers and local wines, the Caxton Street Festival will be a social calendar highlight on the Queen’s Birthday Weekend on Sunday June 7. The grub on offer will extend to more than just seafood, with a heap of street eats and lunch packages available to hungry punters as well as a large range of drinks to wash it all down. Rogers, Little Creatures, XXXX and Sirrotmet Wines will be pouring at numerous pop-up bars, or step inside any of Caxton’s iconic venues for a tipple in comfort.

The highlight of the festival will assuredly be the stellar line-up of musical performances throughout the day. The Caxton Street Festival will feature sets from some of Australia’s best, including Matt McHugh and The Beautiful Girls, Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson, DZ Deathrays, Thelma Plum, The Snowdroppers, Hey Geronimo and lots more. Head to the Caxton Street Festival website for a full list of performances and ticketing information.
