Side-step the mass-produced gifts and share in the love of hand-made and hand-crafted gifts this festive season. Knowing that someone has put heart and hands into making a present makes it a particularly special gift to give and receive.
This Friday from 4:00–9:00 pm will see King George Square come alive with the homegrown shopping experience, The Brisbane Twilight Markets. Meander through the lantern-lit stalls of more than 80 local artisans who specialise in producing soulful and stylish handmade wares.
Shop along to the sweet sounds of live jazz music or sit down and take it all in, including the 20-m tall Christmas tree, garnished with 40 km of decorations and 16,000 twinkling lights.
