With a career spanning decades, Alan Cumming has an extensive list of accomplishments that place him at the pinnacle of the theatre performance heap. Appearing in Broadway productions, Hollywood blockbusters and penning several memoirs, Alan’s career is diverse as his acting ability. Alan has been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Golden Globe Award for his role as Eli Gold in The Good Wife, and has earned rave reviews for his recent season of Sam Mendes’ Cabaret.

Coming to Brisbane to perform two shows on December 22–23, Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs will combine Alan’s love of cabaret with several personal stories – both heartfelt and hilarious. The celebrity-packed parties Alan held in his dressing room post-Cabaret performances inspired the show. Alan will perform a selection of iconic pop and stage classics and will be joined by long-time collaborator, Emmy Award-winning musical director Lance Horne.
