The Autumn Co. has made a name for itself as a multi-disciplinary communications and design studio, specialising in everything from stationery and signage to websites and digital design. But its most recent project The Paper Merchants is something a little different – a collection of boutique artist-designed wallpapers for your home, office or commercial space. The Paper Merchants hand selects a group of unique artists to collaborate with and looks at all visual art forms, including calligraphers, graphic designers, illustrators and photographers. All of the designs commissioned are completely exclusive to The Paper Merchants, with new artists selected for each collection.

The Paper Merchants’ winter collection sees collaborations with Australian artists Cass Deller, Chris Nixon, Hayden O’Neill, Spencer Harrison, Lauren Webster and Jonti Baylis. If you’re feeling a little non-committal about coating your walls in statement wallpaper you can rest easy – all of The Paper Merchants’ wallpapers are completely removable and leave walls without any damage. They are paste free, apply and remove with water, and are suitable for long- or short-term use.
