After being purchased by the Roobottom family in the early 1970s, the cinema was purchased by the Five Star Cinemas team in 2020. New ownership is eager to maintain the Regal Twin’s lineage as a go-to destination to catch sublime classic cinema, dropping prices on adult tickets and adding an online booking system. In the long term, the team will investigate adding more screens, expanding the scope of Regal Twin’s programming and securing a liquor licence.
