Prohibition

Enter via the grand glass doors on Wickham Street and descend the staircase to the beating heart of Prohibition. To your right, the Blind Tiger and Peacock Parlour offer dusty jazz tunes, vintage rock and blues from the comfort of Chesterfields; to your left, the Wall Street VIP lounge offers invitation-only swipe card access and premium drops; and straight ahead, the thumping pulse of the Prohibition Main Hall awaits. Emulating the coveted drinking dens of the Prohibition era, this opulent new 1100-square-metre venue is teeming with 1920s-inspired furnishings, even incorporating a ladies’ powder room with three make-up artists. Well-dressed bartenders serve top-shelf liquor from a central four-sided bar, or guests can book one of six VIP booths with bottle service. A custom-made sound system from Funktion-One will see resident and international DJs providing the soundtrack for performance artists and Charleston dancers, while the Blind Tiger will offer monthly live swing nights.
