Sneaker Freaker Swap Meet comes to Brisbane
If you often catch yourself lustily eyeing off sneakers or experience a secret thrill from the scent of a new pair of kicks, you’d better lace up and hit the city this weekend for Sneaker Freaker’s very first Brisbane Swap Meet.
The respected savants of sneaker porn and crew behind Sneaker Freaker magazine will be spreading the love north this weekend with the launch of the very first Swap Meet outside of Melbourne. It’s with humble gratitude Brisbane residents will be browsing the splashes of fluoro, brightly coloured laces and ankle-nipping high tops from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday April 5. Brisbane City gallery Blake House will be hosting the event, with retailers like Laced, Jason Markk and New Balance all manning stalls.
Ascend the stairs above Laced to level 2 on 35 Adelaide Street to feel up secondhand, rare and new shoes, as well as a range of toys and collectables.
