Over three captivating weeks from Saturday September 6 to Saturday September 27, opinions will be challenged, emotions jabbed and eyeballs enthralled as the best of the independent arts scene comes to Theatre Republic. QUT’s Creative Industries Precinct will once again play host to Brisbane Festival’s live theatre line-up, with left-field plays, boundary-pushing comedies and interactive live-art encounters.

Take a seat in the tragicomedy Klutz or intimate cabaret performance Tears Before Bedtime, tap along to inventive musical Point & Shoot or punk-rock encounter Prehistoric, share your darkest secrets in the one-on-one Tawdry Heartburn’s Manic Cures or laugh your loudest to the stream-of-consciousness idiocy of Kraken. Don’t forget to look up as you wander through the precinct to spy large-scale photography projections and enjoy a drink before or after the show in the themed outdoor bar.
