Spirited Lennox Head clothing label Pastel Designs has embraced care-free festival vibes to create a collection of hand-crafted limited-production pieces that are perfect for the summer ahead.

Creator and designer Meg Newton began selling handmade clothing to friends, and as demand grew over time, so did Pastel Designs. The colourful collection spans from dresses, jumpsuits, bralets and kimonos, to one-off festival pieces, boots, clutches, belts and gemstone jewellery (we’re in love with the Indian moonstone ring). Pastel Design’s exclusive Ash Rose and Earth Child prints are seen across various pieces in the range, including floaty day dresses, loose-fitting rompers, hand-dyed cotton and lace off-the-shoulder tops and flowing patterned skirts. Throw on a pair of the hand-stitched leather phoenix boots, complete with silver metal studs and toe caps, and consider your next festival get-up officially sorted.

Combined with the festival influences, the range is inspired by long days at the beach – and with Lennox Head as the backyard, we can certainly see why! The Pastel Designs team carefully oversees every single piece from the design and pattern creation, to hand-sourcing lace and gems, through to the handmade construction process. With a genuine vision for sustainability, the brand focuses on small production runs, creating a product where quality visibly overshadows quantity.
