With this new weekly live-music event commencing this Friday evening, Mellow Music on the Green showcases local talent against the backdrop of the Brisbane skyline.

Situated within South Bank’s newest precinct River Quay, this weekly feature will be a crowd pleaser with a selection of post-gig wining-and-dining options a mere stroll away from the grassy, bank-side knolls.

Brisbane born and bred, vocalist Mark Lowndes will kick-start Friday evening’s festivities with performances in true South Bank style, with the family-friendly and night-owl time slots of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. An evocative songwriter of captivating lyrics, this self-proclaimed optimist sees his musical talents as a tool to put multiculturalism and community on the map.
