Cawfee

Cawfee is a stylish coffee house and bar with a distinct New York City-style twist. Quickly establishing itself as a favourite among inner-city workers, this Queen Street eatery has become known for its good coffee, great food and enjoyable atmosphere. The premises boasts smooth Calcutta marble bench tops and black-and-white wall tiles, as well as comfortable seating adorned with bold, patterned cushions. The fare is a mix of sweet, salad and savoury – Reuben sandwiches and New York bagels (from The Bagel Boys) are on offer, as are delicious salads made in-house under the supervision of a nutritionist. On Thursday and Friday evenings, Cawfee turns into a happy hour haunt – beer, wine and several New York-themed cocktails are available for post-work tipples or work lunches. Even amongst the busy inner-city cafe scene, Cawfee sets itself apart as a great spot for a quick lunch, meeting or leisurely people watching.
