As the granddaughter of a cobbler, Isabelle McGreevy appreciated from a young age the beauty of a handcrafted pair of shoes. Naturally, when it came to creating her label Oak & Hide for her fashion studies, she turned to the family trade for inspiration. Her graduation collection referenced the Australian aesthetic and Isabelle is now in the process of crafting her first release of handbags and slip-on loafer shoes that will be available this year. All of the leathers used in Oak & Hide products are procured locally from sustainable sources and indigenous communities.
