Lisa McCune, Actress, Love ... and all that follows

I’m due for a long country walk with my kids ...

You may know her from roles in television series and feature films, but Lisa McCune has been dazzling audiences with parts in critically acclaimed theatre productions since she graduated from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts almost 25 years ago. Launching into her career as one of the academy’s youngest-ever graduates, Lisa successfully navigated mainstream and underground roles with her indefatigable passion for acting, singing and dance. Lisa’s latest part sees her working alongside award-winning recording artist Kane Alexander and musical director Denis Follington in the pulsing cabaret Love … and All That Follows. This musical celebration of love explores the thrilling highs, the numbing lows and every stage in between via an eclectic medley of songs. Ahead of her performance at Brisbane’s Twelfth Night Theatre on Thursday July 18, The Weekend Edition chatted to Lisa about her favourite way to spend a weekend.
