Part of the Rosalie Village family, Wine Experience occupies a historic shop space on Baroona Road. Knowledgeable wine sellers share their wisdom with customers in the shop downstairs, and host regular wine tasting and educating events in the lofty space above. The contemporary design of the store sees a collection of wine-related books, Danish-style lamps, warm colourings and polished wooden features come together. With wine master Andrew Corrigan at the helm, Wine Experience has become Australia’s leading retailer of cleanskins and imported boutique wines – it also offers free delivery on all cases Australia-wide.

Take note: The team at Wine Experience are currently hard at work installing a brand-new intimate on-site wine bar within the store’s premises. Inspired by the cosy, character-filled wine bars commonly found across continental Europe, this 10-seater locale is on track for completion in mid-September. When it comes to the selection, a chalk board will list a rotating handful of eclectic, new-age and hard-to-find wines categorised by weight (think light, fresh and mineral-heavy drops through to wines with a fuller body) that will be available by the glass, half-glass or as part of a wine flight. This selection will change often, and will also include covetable Coravin varieties for discerning sippers. While not a fully equipped wine-diner, Wine Experience’s bar will serve a small selection of morsels to snack on including high-quality charcuterie, cheese, rillettes and parfaits.
