Valley Hops Brewing – Opening Soon
Before the end of spring 2021, Valley Hops Brewing – the forthcoming rooftop brewery and bar perched atop Cloudland – will open to the public. When it does, punters will be greeted by a venue that celebrates the eccentric character of the suburb it inhabits and serves beers inspired by the tales and landmarks of The Valley. Up the elevator and out onto the roof, folks will be surrounded by a glam aesthetic that softens Valley Hops Brewing’s material palette of stone, brick and metal. A metalwork arbour will be coated in lush vines, while wooden picnic tables, booths and high-bar seats (plus built-in benches ringing a large fire pit) will offer plenty of opportunities to sink a cold one and take in the scenic views. A core range of six beers have been announced, including a light-bodied lager, tropical ale, fruity sour, pale ale, an IPA and a Hazy IPA. Non-beer drinkers will able to order from a list of premium wines, while a food menu will offer a host of bite-sized morsels cooked in Valley Hops Brewing’s own charcoal grill and woodfired pizza oven.
