Ungermann Brothers Ice-Cream Parlour


After making the nation swoon on the 2017 season of MasterChef, budding culinary star Ben Ungermann decided to head back to his roots when planning his post-television project. Teaming up with his brother Danny, the duo established Ungermann Brothers Ice-Cream Parlour in their home town of Ipswich, offering up handmade and natural ice-cream with a gourmet bent. The electro swing-themed parlour serves up a range of ice-cream flavours in cones, cups and as plated desserts. Each of the 15 flavours available offer some intriguing flavour combinations, evidenced by the likes of Ben and Danny’s lavender honeycomb, pumpkin seed, liquorice and fennel, roasted garlic and fairy-bread ice-cream flavours. Expect the flavour selection to change seasonally, as well as a range of spiked and non-spiked milkshakes. Dessert degustations and progressive dinners with neighbouring eateries are also on the cards, which will be a real treat for any dedicated dessert gourmand.
