UltraViolet Coffee

If you’ve cruised down Brunswick Street lately and spied some mint-green and purple signage out the front of the BackDock Arts space, then you’ve spotted UltraViolet Coffee – a new hole-in-the-wall coffee spot adding a splash of colour to Fortitude Valley’s fringe. Owned and operated by a crew of hospitality veterans, this charming caffeine dispensary is a summery and fresh addition to Brunswick Street’s northern end. The cosy spot specialises in takeaway coffee and bagels, with Fonzie Abbott supplying the beans for UltraViolet’s espresso-based pours and NYC Bagel Deli contributing a selection of quality bagels. Beyond coffee, sippers can opt for juices from Emma & Tom’s or a craft soda made by the crew at Netherworld (flavours include grapefruit and elderflower, and coffee with butterscotch), while delicious gluten-, grain-, dairy- and refined-sugar-free treats from Gluten Freeky are a great guilt-free snacking selection.
