Trade Coast Hotel

After more than 100 hears trading at The Pinkenba Hotel, one of Brisbane’s oldest pubs scored a makeover in 2020. The Pink was refurbished and rebranded as Trade Coast Hotel – scoring a spiffy new bar, a modern bistro, gaming and TAB facilities, an on-site bottle shop and some three-star accomodation. Trade Coast Hotel’s aesthetic is crisp and colourful with a splash of history paying homage to the hotel’s beginnings, which can be traced back to 1910. With a fresh look comes an overhauled menu – Trade Coast Hotel’s kitchen is now dishing out a swag of pub-style morsels to drool over. The Public Bar’s snack menu is perfect for light grazing with a beer at your elbow, with options like Cajun chicken wings, lemon myrtle and black pepper calamari and juicy steak sandwiches on offer. Those seeking a substantial feed should snag a seat in the bistro – this is where you’ll find a selection of hearty burgers, crispy pizzas (cooked in an eye-catching pizza oven), fresh salads and grilled steaks sharing menu space with the likes of braised lamb shanks with port-wine sauce, creamy gnocchi with mushrooms, beer-battered fish and chips and classic chicken parmigiana. In addition to a range of draught beers (freshly poured from the Public Bar’s gleaming copper taps), wine lovers will also be able to sip on tap wines or a selection of bottled varieties from various Australian and New Zealand wineries.
