Tocco Italiano

One year after opening authentic Italian eatery Tocco Italiano in Chelmer, owner Arturo Buonocore announced a second location on Teneriffe’s Florence Street for the latter half of 2017. Good food and wine are Arturo’s blood – his family has owned restaurants, cafes, wine bars and more on the Amalfi Coast since 1935 – so it’s no surprise he would be excited to share his love of Italian food with the people of Brisbane. Tocco Italiano Teneriffe has a more refined offering than its rustic Italian sibling, showcasing the skills of its one-star Michelin chef Enzo Ninivaggi, alongside a number of Chelmer favourites and traditional woodfired pizzas. Patrons can enjoy the likes of buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto paninis, fennel sausage and tomato pizzas, spaghetti with San Marzano tomato, pillowy gnocchi with broccoli cream, clams and sun-dried tomatoes and soft ravioli filled with buffalo ricotta, while sipping on Italian wines and Aperol spritz.
