Three Brews Bar + Kitchen
Holland Park West locals have been crying out for a welcoming evening haunt for years, but it wasn’t until Deedot Coffee House owner Darian Brennan stepped up to the plate were their prayers finally answered. Darian and Brad Edwards opened up Three Brews Bar + Kitchen in 2018, securing the space next door to Deedot to implement their vision – a cosy spot that could cater to the suburbs burgeoning desire for a night-time local. The space – formerly a hairdresser – underwent some significant renovations, with the team restoring the original brick walls, raising the roof, returning the floors to its original polished concrete state and implementing a striking modern industrial aesthetic. A cold room was installed alongside a copper-tiled feature wall, greenery and some rustic renders. Three Brews Bar + Kitchen was envisioned as a community hub, approachable for all comers and catering to a variety of needs. With this in mind, the team crafted a menu that emphasised sharing, with a tapas-style menu bolstered by a selection of larger specials. Arancini, chicken wings, sliders and tacos feature, alongside a sizeable kids menu and a range of vegan and gluten-free options. The bar is amply stocked with local craft beers (the bar is fitted with nine taps), a 27-strong wine list (10 are available by the glass) as well as a substantial back bar and a list of cocktails.
