The Traveller Toast and Tap emerged on the Brisbane food-truck scene in early 2018, bringing forth a nostalgia-laden offering of home-style jaffles and home-brewed soft drinks. Choosing an array of flavours from locally sourced ingredients, the jaffles boast some distinctly Australian flavours, including classic ham, cheese and tomato, spaghetti and cheese, slow-cooked beer baked chicken, savoury mine and smoked brisket. Customers can also pair their jaffled with a home-brewed, non-alcoholic ginger beer, lemon, lime and bitters or Portello. Those that love to support ethically sound business will be stoked to know that a portion of revenue is donated to charity, all products are served in biodegradable and paper-based packaging and grey water is kept and poured on The Traveller’s owner’s farm garden.
