The Pasta Cruiser

Bringing wholesome Italian flavours to the city’s current mobile offerings, The Pasta Cruiser is a fragrant Mediterranean kitchen on wheels. First-time food entrepreneur Neil Gladwin saw the opportunity to expand Brisbane’s street food scene in 2013, abandoning his former career in mining and finance to join forces with local pasta factory owner Jamie Larson. The food truck invites noshers to select a pasta and sauce combination of their choosing, proffering options like classic bolognese, olive oil with chilli, tomato with chorizo and chilli, and roasted pumpkin with fetta and sun-dried tomatoes. For cool relief, there’s Sydney’s famous Pat and Stick’s ice-cream sandwiches, as well as Hank’s Gourmet Beverages root beer and black cherry soda.
