The good folks behind Stones Corner’s Grindhouse Specialty Coffee have opened The Odyssey Project roastery and espresso bar in Milton. Creating a house blend and rotating single origins to pull through the grinders at both their Stones Corner laneway cafe and new Milton locale, the pair will continue to play with the notes and bodies of the blends to offer patrons an ever-interesting range for their morning cup. While there’s no food on-site, visitors can expect to expand their coffee palate with espresso-based coffees as well as pourovers and aeropress, with the option to takeaway or sip and linger a while in-store. The cavernous space sees warm-toned brick line one wall, met by dark, moody paint on the opposite side, while the coffee bar is a beautiful dark wooden creation with industrial light fittings dangling overhead.
