The old Italian Club on Foster Street in Newmarket has had a facelift, and has transformed into a multicultural hub housing restaurant-with-heart The Melting Pot. Malaysian, Singaporean and Indian recipes mingle on the menu, with the owners planning to expand the flavour offerings so diners can dip their toes in a melting pot of authentic culture. Even more heartwarming than a hearty bowl of wonton noodle soup is the fact that The Melting Pot donates any profits generated to a range of charities.
