The Jetty South Bank has long been an idyllic spot for a crisp glass of wine and an intricately flavoured meal, with majestic views of River Quay Green and the Brisbane River restaurant making it the perfect setting for a long lunch or breezy riverside dinner. In September 2017, the venue underwent some renovations to make it more of an eye-catching destination to foot traffic, bringing the bar to the front of the venue while also adding a private dining space and booth seating. Highly regarded chef Rhett Willis took over at the kitchen’s helm, creating a new menu featuring crisp calamari with finger lime salt, charred beef rib with pickled paw paw, soft-shell crab with green chilli, and beef cheek pho with  soft noodles and holy basil. New cocktail carafes are on offer for those keen to lunch leisurely, while the the riverside restaurant is now the only River Quay spot serving up coffee from 7:00 am every day alongside a selection of pastries.
