Owned and operated by the team behind Paddington cafe Chapter IV, New Farm’s Chat Thai and Brisbane City’s Phat Elephant, The Hamptons sits within a charming Queenslander in the heart of Hendra, serving up breakfast and lunch with an Asian twist. Day starters include the likes of fluffy matcha pancakes, panko and hazelnut crusted field mushroom with pandan hollandaise and Blue Swimmer crab scrambled eggs, while at lunch patrons can dine on green curry spaghetti paired with mussels and tiger prawns, sugar snap and green peppercorns, and quinoa scotch egg salads in a parmesan bowl. As for the drinks, The Hamptons serves up coffee from Campos, Origin tea, freshly squeezed juices and fresh coconut water served in a husk. The coming months will see a liquor license implemented alongside a dinner service.
