The Fifth Season Cafe

The Fifth Season Cafe in South Brisbane is a specialty coffee pitstop that serves a brunch style that imbues modern Australian classics with a delightful injection of Japanese flavours and presentation. Coffee lovers can sip on a house blend from Sydney’s Seven Miles, while single origins will rotate fortnightly, with brew available in espresso, cold brew and pour-over varieties. A selection of creative brews are available for those looking to branch out from their regular pick, including dirty matcha lattes infused with espresso, cold-brew with whipped milk and dark cacao, green-tea variants, and refreshing mango puree paired with a hit of coffee. The cafe’s seasonally changing menu currently offers the likes of karaage benedict with fried karaage chicken, kewpie hollandaise, house-ground nuts on a fresh croissant (all pastries are made on site), smoked salmon with dill-pickled cucumber and crispy duck leg ramen noodle salad. A a dog-friendly breakfast will soon be added to the menu, including biscuits and treats for hungry pooches.
