The Coop Espresso Bar

Taking the concept of ‘hole in the wall’ to the literal extreme, The Coop Espresso Bar was carved out of a wall in Eagle Lane, nestled between Queen and Eagle Streets in Brisbane City. The resulting pit-stop offers workers a place to grab coffee on the go without even having to set foot inside a cafe. Steaming hot Mocopan Coffee including a fairtrade single-origin Ethiopian blend satisfies caffeine cravings, while a range of plunders, brownies and muffins from Kaptain Patisserie keeps belly rumbles at bay. Those after a little more sustenance can opt for a pie, quiche, yoghurt with coulis and granola, or toast slathered in a range of spreads, including smashed avocado with Persian fetta, lemon and dukkah.
