The Bavarian at The Barracks

Proving that there is no limit to the amount of schnitzels and steins Brisbane folk can handle, Rockpool Dining Group further satiated the city’s demand for German fare with another location for its hugely popular concept The Bavarian. The Barracks on Petrie Terrace welcomed the newbie in 2019, after it took over the site formerly occupied by Hog’s Breath Cafe. This two-level premises (Rockpool Group’s ninth The Bavarian in Queensland) is able to host 600 punters across a mix of inside, outside covered and outside beer-garden seating. Much like its sibling locations, the menu at The Bavarian features all the recognisable signatures, from sausages and schnitzels to pork knuckles and giant pretzels, as well as a bar pouring dozens of beers off tap. In addition to the bites and brews, The Bavarian Petrie Terrace will boast numerous television screens displaying an assortment of sporting fixtures, which is great news for those that miss out on tickets to big games at Suncorp Stadium down the road.
